  1. Plugin Licensing

Visual Product Configurator and all extensions, unless otherwise stated, are licensed under the GNU General Public License (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html) version 2.0 or later.

  1. Warranty

Plugins sold and distributed by Orion Origin, LLC are done so in the hope that they will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Inasmuch as WordPress functions correctly on a clean install of itself, Visual Product Configurator is guaranteed to function on a clean install of the minimum, stable and required version of WordPress for Visual Product Configurator and extensions. Because the number and variety of plugins are vast and wide, we do not guarantee that the plugin will function with all third-party plugins, themes or browsers of any kind. We do not assume responsibility and will not be held responsible for any conflicts or compatibility issues that may occur due to third-party software. We assume no responsibility for any data loss as a result of installing or using Visual Product Configurator or its add-ons. Should conflicts occur with third-party software, we may provide support at our discretion.

  1. Support
Orion Origin, LLC sells and distributes Visual Product Configurator, its add-ons, and other plugins “as is” and with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like, or that they will be compatible with all third-party components and plugins.
Support for plugins sold and distributed by Orion Origin, LLC is only available for those who have an active, paid extension license.

For purchases that include an automatically renewing subscription, support will be provided for as long as the subscription remains active.

For purchases that involve a one-time payment, support will be provided during the tenure of the year immediately after payment.

Support and updates for Visual Product Configurator are provided as long as Visual Product Configurator is actively in development. Should any one of the following occur, Orion Origin, LLC will no longer be responsible for providing support for Visual Product Configurator:
    • Visual Product Configurator is no longer actively developed as a viable product under Orion Origin, LLC.
    • Visual Product Configurator or the parent company is purchased or bought out by another company.
    • WordPress is no longer actively developed.
    • WooCommerce is no longer actively developed.

Whilst we attempt to provide the best support possible for our plugins, we do not guarantee that any particular support query can, or will be answered to the extent, or within a timeframe that the inquirer is completely satisfied.

Each purchase grants the purchaser access to the Company’s plugin support service, which covers direction on how to use the latest version of the digital goods as advertised. Orion Origin reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the number of support interactions granted to any purchaser within a specific time period. The support service does not cover help with plugin customization beyond the advertised, nor does it cover support/help in situations where the core plugin files have been modified by any party other than Orion Origin (us) itself.


  1. Automatic Updates

Automatic updates are available to license holders who have an active and valid purchase and license key. Automatic updates are available for Visual Product Configurator and all other installed Visual Product Configurator extensions (the add-ons). Automatic updates are available as long as the license key generated from the purchase is valid and active.

  1. License Usage
Visual Product Configurator grants each customer one or more non-transferable license(s) to use the software for internal use, and as defined by the terms set in the customer’s chosen license package.
Where the license package allows the software to be used on multiple sites the customer/license-holder may not sell the originally-purchased license key provided by Orion Origin, LLC, to other users of the license (such as clients) for commercial benefit. Additionally, the customer may not sublicense, to any person or entity, any rights to distribute the software or license key. Visual Product Configurator will only provide support services to the original customer/license-holder with a legitimate license key, and consider any other uses of this license key for support queries as fraudulent.
  1. Plugin Delivery
After we have processed your payment successfully, you will receive an email with your order number and other purchase information. Your license key is available in your account area along with your plugin downloads. You can download the plugin by logging into the account created for you when purchasing the plugin and clicking on the appropriate link.
Should you not receive an email containing your information, you can contact us through https://configuratorsuiteforwp.com/contact/ to request your purchase information.
Access to re-download purchased files will be granted so long as your license key is valid. If a license key expires, download access to the associated files will be discontinued until such time as the license key is renewed. This includes access to previous versions of extensions that were available at the time the license key was active.
  1. Ownership
All plugins are property of Orion Origin, LLC. Claiming any type of intellectual or exclusive ownership rights of our products is strictly prohibited.
Our plugins are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur due to the use or inability to use our plugins.

  1. Website & Plugin Content

All content found on this site and throughout the plugin including images, documentation, support queries and any other information is property of Orion Origin, LLC and may not be redistributed without permission or consent.

  1. Price Changes

Orion Origin, LLC reserves the right to modify, change, cancel or upgrade a plugin purchase, subscription and/or license key without prior notice or consent. Prices of all products are subject to change without prior notice or consent.

  1. Purchase Terms

Visual Product Configurator plugin combined with its add-on extensions are sold for a one time fee. This applies to all paid-for extension licenses.

With the payment of the one-time fee, you are entitled to a license that will automatically expire at the end of one (1) year.
Please note the following details of Visual Product Configurator extension license payments:

    • Your single payment entitles you to one (1) year of free updates for the plugin and its add-ons provided you have not cancelled your license.

    • After the period of one (1) year, your copy of the plugin and add-ons will not work and you won’t be able to get upgrades unless you purchase a support extension (please check the pricing page for the accurate price) or renew your annual license.
    • You may cancel your order at any time from your Account page on the Visual Product Configurator website.
      • If you choose to cancel your order, your license will expire on the anniversary of the original purchase, and you will no longer receive updates and support for the Visual Product Configurator extensions you have purchased.

  1. Refunds

When you purchase our products you are granted immediate access to them INCLUDING THE FULL SOURCE CODE.  This means that it is impossible for us to process a true return the way you can with a physical product.  When we issue a refund it means that you have effectively obtained our products for free.  Thus, to prevent abuse we have adopted a strict refund policy.

If you have problems getting our products to work as documented on our website, we will be happy to provide a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued.
However, before a refund will be granted, you must allow us to try and help solve any problem you have by opening a support ticket. This means that you must work with us in good faith to allow us to resolve the issue for you.  It also means that you must cooperate with us when we ask you to activate and deactivate plugins and themes, turn on debugging to generate log files, retrieve and send us log files, communicate with your hosting provider when we request you to do so and allow us to access your system (both the WordPress dashboard of your staging site and your back-end via FTP) if we feel we need to be more hands-on to troubleshoot the issue.

    • Refund Policy Exceptions
We stand behind our products and will assist you in solving any problem you have, but we also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why.  Before finalizing your purchase make sure you read the entire product description and any documentation available in the documentation area on our website – this will allow you to better understand the product you are purchasing.

Refunds will NOT be granted if
  1. you want to return an add-on you purchased.
  2. you no longer wish to use the plugin. 
  3. You temporarily needed it but don’t need it anymore.
  4. you reported an issue but do not wish to cooperate with us to help troubleshoot.
  5. you requested a new feature that is not present in the actual software sold.
  6. you misunderstood the scope of our plugin’s functionality and request a feature that the plugin, as is, does not possess.
  7. your environment is not running the minimum versions of PHP, WordPress, our plugin and its add-on(s) (if available).
  8. you have obtained at least one refund from us and then proceed to purchase additional software from us later. (This ensures that customers do not get our latest software for free on a regular basis by continually claiming refunds.)

    • Refunds & Third-party plugins/themes

We guarantee that our plugin works well with the latest versions of both WordPress core and WooCommerce. However, there’s a possibility that it could conflict with a third-party plugin/theme that prevents it from running smoothly. This is understandable as there are hundreds of thousands of themes & plugins within the WordPress ecosystem. Technical issues caused by other plugins, add-ons, themes or snippets do not qualify as the right grounds for a refund.

If it is determined that you are using another plugin that conflicts with our plugin we will offer a refund solely at our discretion.  It is not an automatic entitlement (though we mostly issue refunds for this situation.)

    • Refunds For Subscription Payments

Refunds will not be offered for subscription products/automatic renewals. If you do not wish to renew your subscription please make sure you cancel the subscription from the My Account page and/or your Paypal account.  We send out a reminder notice (typically 1 week) before your renewal payment is processed and you may use this opportunity to cancel your subscription before the renewal payment is automatically processed. We will not take responsibility if you have missed or (for whatever reason) didn’t receive a reminder notice. Please note that cancelling your subscription means not having a valid license; the plugin would not work without a valid license and you would forfeit access to updates as well as access to support.

12. Email

Orion Origin, LLC may occasionally send you emails related to the purchase of product(s) from our company. We may also send you occasional email newsletters relating to Visual Product Configurator updates, promotions, Visual Product Configurator add-on extensions and the like. We will never sell or release your email to any third party vendors. You may opt out of these emails at any time without penalty.

13. License Agreement

By purchasing our product(s), you indicate and consent that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions listed and detailed on this page. We reserve the right to change or modify the current Terms and Conditions without prior notice or consent.

14. Severability

If any part of this agreement is declared unenforceable or invalid, all remaining clauses in this agreement shall remain binding on the customer.
